National Spiritual Day is a celebration dedicated to promoting connection, community, inclusivity, curiosity, acceptance, and a peaceful future. It serves as a day for people to come together and connect at a deeper level with family, friends, and others in their community.
National Spiritual Day is brought to you by Spiritualism New Zealand, a national body that brings together those who identify as Spiritualists and promotes an understanding of the principles of Spiritualism. Our 2026 focus, Building Spiritual Community, is about exploring the aspects of community – leading, contributing, maintaining harmony, belonging, spiritual spaces, traditions, and celebrations.

At this time we invite you to stop whatever it is you are doing and connect in a loving and compassionate way with others. For example, stop work and chat with a colleague about what is important to them, phone a loved one, or smile at a stranger.![]()

* take in 3 deep breaths breathing in through your nose![]()
* connect with your heart and feel the love that resides there (it may help to think of a beloved person or animal)![]()
* feel this love grow and send it out to your loved ones, people in your community, and all those in need![]()
* take another deep breath and focus back on your heart before continuing with your day.![]()

You may wonder what the significance of 12:22 is? Well, as Angel Numbers and all the different systems of Numerology agree, 1 is the energy of the SELF and 2 is the energy of the SACRED DIVINE FEMININE. For example, think of the Number 2 “High Priestess” card in the Major Arcana of Tarot. 2 represents “Intuition” and our Divine inner guidance. It’s also about finding balance within the duality and polarity of life whilst expressing the feminine Yin energy of patience, kindness, understanding and co-operation. 2 teaches us to slow down, to go within and to “trust and surrender” to the Divine Order and Timing in life. It is the number of peace, harmony and healing. Therefore 12:22 is encouraging each of us to adopt and amplify these number 2 qualities and tendencies within ourselves (1 = The Self) and to share them with the world for the greater good of all. 12:22 is also a reminder that you are not alone.
