Welcome to National Spiritual Day

Celebrating spiritual values

Join us to celebrate what it means to be a spiritual being living in a physical body on our earth plane.

National Spiritual Day is a celebration dedicated to promoting connection, community, inclusivity, curiosity, acceptance, and a peaceful future. It serves as a day for people to come together and connect at a deeper level with family, friends, and others in their community.

National Spiritual Day is brought to you by Spiritualism New Zealand, a national body that brings together those who identify as Spiritualists and promotes an understanding of the principles of Spiritualism. Our 2026 focus, Building Spiritual Community, is about exploring the aspects of community – leading, contributing, maintaining harmony, belonging, spiritual spaces, traditions, and celebrations.

Focus

Over the next year, we’ll dive into the components of Building Spiritual Community including leading, contributing, maintaining harmony, belonging, spiritual spaces, traditions, and celebrations.

A Place of Endings… and New BeginningsAt the top of Aotearoa sits Cape Reinga / Te Rerenga Wairua—a place of deep spiritual significance.Known as the point where spirits begin their journey onward, it carries a sense of reflection… and release.Even standing there, many feel it - a quiet invitation to let go.To honour what’s been. And make space for what’s next.✨ Some places don’t just hold energy… they help us shift.👇 As we near the end of the month - if you could release one thing, what would it be?
