Heritage New Zealand provide information on the Wesleyan Chapel (Former) at 8A Pitt Street, Auckland. This building was used by the Auckland Society for Spiritual Progress which later became the Auckland Branch of the Spiritualist Church of New Zealand (SCNZ). The last two paragraphs are most relevant to Spiritualism.
