How can you raise your energy vibrations?

Raising your vibrations can benefit both you and all on our earth plane in many different ways. The higher your frequency is the better you are going to feel about yourself. You are less likely to blame others or make judgements and more able to live in a place of gratitude and compassion. You will have more energy and feel joy as you move about your day.

There are many different ways you can raise your vibrations and as I talk about a few of them, I’m sure you will be able to think of others that you either use now or could bring into your life in the future to help increase your energy.

A lot of keeping your vibrational level high is about the emotions you are feeling or the thoughts that you are holding on to. Things such as shame, guilt, fear and anger will lower your vibration at the time you are thinking or expressing them. And we all experience these emotions but it is when we hold on to them and constantly revisit them that they bring our energy vibration down.

Being able to react to something or someone with compassion will raise your vibration. Compassion comes from your heart not your mind. Your mind feels ‘sorry’ for something while your heart feels love for all living things. Compassion allows you to understand that everyone has their own journey to travel and to support them in this journey with love. You don’t pity them or feel sorry for them but rather support them as they move through that which they are experiencing.

Gratitude is one of the quickest ways to amp up your vibration. You can’t feel fear or anger while feeling gratitude at the same time. Therefore, when you feel yourself experiencing a low energy emotion, see if you can shift your attention to gratitude for the good things you have in your life. The same can be said of feeling love. When you are struggling, think of someone who is easy to love and hold that person in your heart. Think of a child laughing or a sound that brings you joy and feel your energy rise.

When you get stingy or greedy or attach your happiness to something outside of yourself, it can leave you feeling the opposite of how you want to feel. To move past this, try doing something generous. It doesn’t have to be something big or time consuming – try smiling at a stranger, giving up your seat to someone who’s need is greater than yours, or donating to charity. By doing this you take your focus away from yourself and your wants and needs and often find that what you were looking for will unexpectedly come to you – as you give, so will you receive.

It is easy when you are spiralling downwards for your thoughts to become very negative. To change this, you first need to be aware of what your thoughts are doing. Often you will find they are going round and round in circles and that because of this you are feeling heavy and burdened and unable to see your way forward. Changing your negative thoughts to positive ones can seem difficult but it is often as simple as refocusing on something different. Remembering a special moment, admiring flowers, listening to birds, playing some music. Any of these things can be a trigger to shifting the focus of your thoughts and therefore allowing you to be in a more positive state. This in turn raises your vibrations so that it becomes even easier to stay in that positive state of being.

And that leads me to perhaps my favourite way of raising my vibrations and that’s stepping outside into nature. This may be stepping out into your own garden, taking a walk through trees, or alongside a stream or river, or visiting the sea. All of these things allow you to connect with nature and receive the energy of unconditional love that everything in nature willingly shares with you. You may not be conscious of receiving this, but as you allow yourself to relax and just breath, you can feel yourself feeling more at peace and that calmness will allow your energy vibrations to rise.

These are just a few of the ways that you can increase your vibrations. Look for what you can do in your own life that brings those feelings of peace, joy and happiness and use them whenever you have the need to change how you are feeling.
