The piece of advice I have found the hardest to implement is “Focus on what you do want, not what you don’t want”. Particularly when it comes to relationships, I have found it difficult to look past the behaviours I don’t like and focus on the love I have for the person behind the behaviour.
When adversity hits, fear, anxiety and resistance take over. These emotions then lower our frequency which makes it difficult to accept the adversity and, therefore, we attract more of it. Our lower vibration attracts lower vibration people, things and circumstances which keeps us in a downward spiral.
The alternative is to treat adversity with acceptance and love. All adversity comes our way for a reason and if we accept it into our lives with open arms, it is much easier to see the blessings in it. It allows us to focus on what is going right and opens us up to finding gems in the situation. This helps us to maintain a high vibration which then attracts good into our lives.
The more we are able to stay heart-centred in all that we do, the more love, satisfaction and success we allow into our lives. The universe is there to support us, but we need to do our bit by asking for what we want and believing we can have it. When we get what we want, we need to accept it 100% even if it doesn’t look exactly as we thought it would.
Set an intention to create your life from your heart and you will notice that things start to fall into place to support this. When things start to fall in your lap, remember you do deserve them and drop the resistance to them coming into your life. Any time you feel things are going off track, refocus on your heart-centred intention. Show your appreciation for the magic that is showing up and allow more magic to come your way.
