Run with your inspired ideas

You may wonder what the difference is between an inspired idea and any old thought. Inspired ideas tend to come out of left field and surprise you. They are not something you have been thinking about for a while although they can be a new take on your long-term thoughts. Often inspired ideas will come with a little fear or disbelief in your ability to execute the idea or in the reactions of others to it.

You may ruminate on the idea and really want it to come into reality but not know how to do it. This is a time to trust. Trust that the people, resources and know how to implement your inspired idea will come to you in divine timing. The universe will move mountains to support you when you commit to following your inspiration.

When you receive guidance from the universe, it is respectful to take inspired action on that guidance. This lets the universe know that you are listening. The action may be a bold step, or it may be a symbolic action. For example, if you feel inspired to change a long-term habit such as smoking, you may boldly decide to quit cold turkey that day. You could also decide to research different methods of quitting to see which one will suit you best. This research would be a symbolic action of your intention to quit.

Inspiration can be triggered by external stimulus or appear as though it has come from thin air. Talking with others, watching videos or Ted talks, reading true stories, and walking in nature are just some of the ways you can open yourself to inspiration. However, the key ingredient is giving yourself space and time away from the endless To Do lists to allow the inspiration in.

Allow the space to find your inspiration, then take inspired action to live the life of your dreams!
